The objective of the proposed collaboration is to assess, from a technical, economic, and regulatory perspective, the feasibility of integrating the existing cogeneration plants located in different Repsol industrial complexes into the Spanish electricity markets, with the aim of expanding the economic value of their operation without compromising the security, continuity, and efficiency of energy supply to industrial processes.
In addition, the scope includes, as a complementary analysis, the identification of investment needs in control, monitoring, and automation systems required to enable efficient participation in electricity markets and flexibility services.
